Penton Media is one of the largest business-to-business media company in the U.S., managing several trade magazines and conventions. Penton Media, along with Contracting Business, organize the yearly HVAC Comfortech convention that offers tje largest forum for HVAC contractors and professionals to meet and learn from industry leaders. Over the past several years the volume of people attending the conference had outgrown their manual registration system and they needed automation to handle the quantity of attendees with several unique features to allow the flexibility that they were used to.
I designed and built a custom attendee registration system for their yearly conference. The registration front-end needed to accomodate several styles of registrations including early bird discounted registrations, group discounted attendees and special partner packages. Along with this I built an administration system on top of the Blinky framework to allow easy control and processing of all current and previous attendees.
This was a Sprokets Project and I worked with Frantz ID for Project Planning and Info Design.
