End All Music is a small record label specializing in the metal genre and related sub-genres. While originally from Philadelphia, the label has since relocated to Massachusetts.
I redesigned their website with the idea of keeping a "dark" feeling to match the label's musical content and with a goal of keeping the interface simple. For the dark feeling of the site I started with a black canvas and white text for better readibility, from there I distressed images of gears, chains and other machine parts and colored them with a dark shade of red. To maintain the simple interface I used big text organized in a logical hierarchy and kept image usage to a minimum. After the design was finished and the XHTML coded, I integrated Hermes XML feeds to power the News, Releases and Artist content.
